The title IN SITU refers to this film looking at how groups of people skate in their original home environments, alongside how they skate when travelling around searching for new terrain.

There's something uniquely interesting about creating a situation and filming the results. Amongst general skateboarding happenings we show you the stories from various trips that we've initiated.
Through skateboarding and traveling we all meet new people and make new friends. These people become imbedded in our minds wether we meet them just once or make a proper acquaintance.
From these memory banks we select people to come on the IN SITU trips for their skateboarding ability, and personal qualities. The people in this first release have the qualities that symbolise this positive aspect of skateboarding...
